The Schokland Fund

With a one million Euro contribution from the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and two million Euros given by OIKOCREDIT UA, this fund was created in the Stichting Oikocredit International Support Foundation.

The fund, named SCHOKLAND – SME CENTRAL AMERICA AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, is managed by OIKOCREDIT U.A. and has its own legal identity and government structure.

The expected results aim to strengthen productive activities in Central America and the Dominican Republic with the purpose of producing a high social and environmental impact.

With the purpose of propitiating the Fund's sustainability, at the end of the three-year project, with the explicit approval of MINBUZA, the fund and its remainder will continue existing with the same objective for which it was created. CEGESTI will continue being a partner of the fund in order to provide technical assistance according to the amount provided by the beneficiaries (companies).
